Madagascar – A treasury of nature
Madagascar, being 4th biggest island in the world, offers a unique natural site. Tropical forests, blank dry savannahs, bizarre rocky landscapes and wonderfully wide beaches give home to wildlife, nowhere else to be found in the world.
The sunny island is especially known for the lemur infra-order of primates, integrating about 100 different species, which are only to be found in Madagascar.
Madagascar leaves nothing to be desired. It is a multifarious destination offering - next to unique natural experiences - a great variety of adventures and activities beginning with biking, climbing and trekking to all kinds of water sports.
Of particular importance to the local population is the eco-tourism, which enhances the effective and environment-friendly development of the island.
Backpackers as well as all other visitors find their costs repaid when getting into contact with the friendly Madagascan and experiencing the exquisite landscapes on their one hook beyond caved pathways.
